This presentation will focus on one districts efforts to increase Special Population access and success rates in Career Technical Education Pathways. Beginning with data evaluation, we will walk through our process of targeted marketing to students with special need, engaging families, supporting students with diverse needs and increasing completion rates in programs. Considerations for least restrictive environment, supplementary supports and services and legal consideration will also be presented both from a Board of Education and departmental perspective. Participants will receive practical strategies to implement in their districts. Implications for College and Career readiness indicators will also be provided.
